I too am very upset with Apple and the foolish use of non-relevent one hit wonder Randy (I thought he was dead) Newman. What a way to crush a loyal Apple fan! Steve Jobs will now join REM and play heavy bass chords with Hugo Chavez as they turn paws up on what made them famous. The left coast is sooooo , well left. Build cool stuff and shut up!

Just let me know in advance the next time they have Newman on, I could have made some money by selling short instead of losing my share of AAPL's $12B that is market drop after the kenote.

Steve Jobs and Katie Cotton what were you thinking? to put a depressing, anti-corporate leftist as your closing act.

Is that America is in decline, Corporations are evil but not the ones that pay me, and Bush is no quite as bad as Hitler, Stalin but the American Empire is going to die soon the message and emotion you wanted to leave with 4000 Press members and their readers?

Getting a Political viewpoint across is great if you are the NY TImes, but as AAPL it cost you and we your share holder's $12,000,000,000.

uhmm... i can see that its cool because it's thin, but do you guys now that the batt is not replaceable? its a laptop for chrissakes and the batts cannot be replaced. this product is not for majority of people, the price is in between macbook and macbook pro an all u get is a thin laptop? one usb port, no ethernet or firewire (unless u buy the dongle), no optical drive (unless you buy an external drive), the HD is slow and so is the processor. has anyone checked what the graphic card is? wow once u complete the set you'll be paying almost the same amount as a MBP!

this is a sick joke.

"Thin" seems to be Apple's new mantra.

I got my new iMac (all-in-one desktop) over Thanksgiving, and you got to see it to believe it -- how the Apple engineering team crams everything into such a thin space is amazing. To this day, I am still wondering where is the cooling fan? Or did they put one in there at all? If not, how do they cool the darn thing?

The Air looks great except for one major details -- the glossy screen! Apparently it gives more vibrant colours for watching movies and looking at photos, but who wants glare when they are trying to work (read/write)?

I'm sure Apple has done their homework... am I the only one who thinks the glossy screen is a dealbreaker?

what a waste of time and space no wonder the stock price tanked. I can't believe they are punishing early adopters of the ipod touch did they not learn any thing from the iphone.

The new laptop is nice but its too pricey and I don't actually find my macbook pro heavy or hard to carry around. also I bet that thing will get hotter than the other mac books.

Where is the sdk stuff?
