Tell CG a Holiday Travel Horror Story, Win a Blackberry Curve
by John Biggs on December 11, 2007

Telenav was kind enough to send CrunchGear two free AT&T Blackberry Curves to give away to the readers with the best holiday travel horror stories. The phones include three months of Telenav service and our own Erick Schonfeld swears by his, mostly because the Motorola RAZR was too “fancy and complex” for him. Pop over to CG to find out how to enter.

Would this count as shameless advertising? (No, not my post ;)

No, your name and link are shameless advertising. I’m just giving away curves.

Google Maps is free and you can use it on the blackberry.

Uh, helllooo??? Why would I want this when I can rent maps from the library for free??

@ Dave: Dude, why are you even reading TechCrunch? You can rent Wired from the library, too! Helllllooooo!

Yeah, the new Google maps with the blinking GPS-like feature is sweet.

One dark and stormy night , Santa and his rain deer were hanging out in a bar on the upper east side. In walked Mrs Claus and told Santa she’d had enough if his rable rousing drunkard ways and that she was leaving him for a nice Rabbi she met on the upper west side.

she took 1/2 of the crap he was going to give away this year, got the house in the Hamptons ,the sled and his DVD collection.

This poor guy should get it!

santa.farecompare.com flying something like 70 flights in 10 days or something!

just got one after having the pearl for some time, complete in love with it. can’t ever go to anything but a blackberry from here on.

telenav is bumming - the two most important links on their homepage - buy now and download free trial, are broken. how does this go unnoticed?

O’Hare, Xmas week, 350 mile plane ride home, light snow, and O’Hare is backed up 8-10 hours. Rent a car, and drive it, but holiday traffic is gridlocked outside of Gary. No GPS, and no way, on a dark and stormy night, to figure out a drive-around. Beat the plane home, but not by much, and exhausted to boot.

Michelle - thank you for the heads-up on the broken links on our site. Must have been a strange glitch - we’ve fixed them now. Let me know if they still don’t work for you.

Thanks!
Mary Beth
