Opening this up to different countries isn't a flick of the switch, unfortunately. That's because it involves Money. Hopefully, with more trade and travel and Internet communication, borders will disappear. They haven't yet. They start with the US and Canada because, frankly, it's their largest markets. But the opportunity is there for anyone. No longer restricted to getting a job with one of the decades-old media companies. Hell, even American Idol is an example of this. Bypass the normal L.A. or Nashville scenes to get your break - and let America watch you.
