I have been using picinic's Firefox plug in to have theedit this image link already on Flickr but it rarely worked properly on firefox. Picnic flys on Safari so for no other reason then hot linking form Flickr to Picnic in Safari this is worth it. I do alot of photo editing and find that Picnic is powerful enough to take care of 75% of my needs for the others I have The Gimp and and PS and work.

This is a huge move and I really like the integration it is not over whelming much like the Organizer. If I want ot organize its there. If I want to edit, its there. If I want it to just be like the social Flickr I love its there.

Now i just want there to be a deal where if you get the Pro membership on Flickr they upgrade you to premium in Picnic!

[...] Techcrunch shared some exciting news today, as Flickr, which has been closely associated with Picnik (my favorite online photo editor), has finally integrated Picnik’s photo editing capabilities into their site. To access these tools, simply open an image or upload one to Flickr, then click the Edit button above the image (which, by the way, is very easy to miss). I’ve already shared some of the features available in Picnik previously, and these features are now all available within Flickr, which definitely will serve as a time-saver. The interface appears as seen below: [...]

works exactly like facebook app. Working a little slower for me. Nevertheless its a good change for an otherwise dull flickr. When is the video launch?? They are very slow for such a popular website.

What can be the revenue arrangement? I am sure Flickr is paying Picnik for their technology.

The Gimp may offer more possibilities, but for simple editing Piknik is great. They're doing a pretty impressive job of integrating everywhere as well with the Facebook App, etc.

I think it's a good move by Flickr, but someone should acquire them. Soon.

Of all the bloat that Flickr has been putting on their service as of late, this one make sense. However I personally prefer picasaweb because of its simplicity and integration with the picasa photo manager app.

Also, dont forget that the picnik service is also available for picasaweb users.

Nice, but what's with all those 466 unread emails, Michael? ;)
I've got a pile of those, too. Smaller pile, but a pile never the less.
