In the end, after they become big, they will still end up like Digg where there is heavy censorship. Also, Digg doesn't listen to its users. They took almost a year to get the simple images section done! That's why I think we should have a social media that is transparent and owned by the community. In such an open social media, censorship will not occur and users themselves can request and implement features of the site.
