I've been using a company Springdoo.com for over a year now for both my video emails and my Spring Casting - (kinda like video blogs - I use with blogspot)...

I just checked their website and u get a gig storage, up to 5 minute videos (unlimited), upload videos, mobile facility to watch and record, rss feeds and an itune feed (which i use all the time) and its free.

I would rather see ads and have a free service than pay $15 per month for it! What a rip-off!!!!!!

I have been using EyeJot for some months.. It is a great product, and really changes the way you think about truly personalizing E-Mail.

It is the one product that makes a powerful argument for a webcam being built into a computer.

Highly reccomended! Particularly when you are tired to typing!

I've been using eyejot for about six months and like it a lot. I use it when I want to to show a more personal face with certain clients; my kids use it to send video email to their grandparents. Works quite well. And the Pro account is amazingly cheap for what you get.

I've liked Eyejot a lot. I think it is a killer product, something done right that has been tried many, many times before by the big guys like Comcast and AOL. PRO takes it to the next level. Nice job David and crew!

PRO version takes it to 5 minutes. Interestingly, the average recording time among users of the free account with the one minute limit is 28 seconds.

I'm a big fan of EyeJot -- I've been using it for about six months, and one way I explain it to friends is that it's so easy to use that my Mom and Dad are able to use it. It's a great way to keep in touch with them while they're across the country, and make things a lot more personal than just an email. And, it's a lot easier than trying to catch up with them on Skype/iChat (trying to walk parents through that setup could lead to being removed from the will!).

The product looks good, if they include additional features like posting the selected videos directly to you tube or other free file upload services would be an added advantage.

Looks interesting. I good concept but you guys should look at oovoo.com their product allows for the same type of thing in addition to talking with six people via a video conference and it's free. Eyejot seems like a decent solution for some.

Thanks for writing about Eyejot!

I just wanted to clarify one thing about our free product. We will soon be adding an export feature, so that you can save your videos to your desktop. You can also already save them by subscribing to your private iTunes-compatible RSS stream. We would never require you to pay in order to preserve your content, we simply need to charge you if you want to keep it accessible from our servers.
