Not bad for a useless company.

If you want to pay clickbot networks to burn through your money via fake proxies from Taiwan, go ahead, sign up.

Oh, and you're probably going to be considered "low priority" once you try to get that money back: http://blog.auinteractive.com/bad-experience-with-adbritecom-ppc-ad-network-reviews-part-5

I've advertised using Adbrite in the past. I got sucked into doing so by a salesperson who coldcalled and made all kinds of promises that were never met. The advertisements performed piss poor in comparison to the same kinds of ads on the major networks, and, needless to say, we stopped using them after our initial commitment was exhausted.

Adbrite - Pathetic CTR, cheapo ads with nothing relavent, most of them bids 5 cents per click and eCPM is horrible and as low as 10 cents!!

When I first heard of this company a long time ago, they where a dime a dozen but with recent consolidation, those numbers are very impressive, wouldn't be surprising if they where bought out... and soon! :-)

I think you are right Ollie. I have used both Adbrite and Adsense on my sites and AdBrite are not quite yet on the level of Adsense.
Sometimes you get ads that have nothing to with the context on the site and sometimes they seem to just put an ad just like a filler but I think they are going in the right direction and this funding may help them get there quicker hopefully.

I really hope they will use the $23m to improve the core product instead of blowing it on marketing their current offering.

There are so many companies that have the potential in online advertising space, like the New York/Israel-based Quigo that AOL bought earlier this month, but few can deliver as good results as Gaggle Adsense.

I use their ad's on a few of my sites. They are only good when the site is popular enough for people to buy ads. The ones they use otheriwse are generally all random and not content related like Google.

Anyone else feel that?
