Not sure what is the point of these web widgets if Firefox offers a great add-on that can extract data from any kind of website. Does anyone know any really useful widget? On the other hand, I have more than 20 web browser macros that I use daily.

Alas, I’m with Angela on this — Yahoo Widgets, as cool and commanding a presence as they are, hang my laptop and cause other bizarre behaviors when loaded.

I know it’s not Yahoo’s fault BUT all my server-class software (app servers, databased, et al) apps that I work with day-in and day-out work fine…

Until now I can not see any installer for the new Google Gadgets for Mac.

Their new AJAX-style site and installer plugin is confusing. Also, the app does not work on Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard).
