What Will You Be For Halloween?

Michael Arrington

If you’re like Marie Eve Bergeron-Tourangeau from Canada, you’ve decided to become a Facebook profile page for Halloween. Which is better, I guess, than trying to dress up like a Google OpenSocial, since the only image really associated with that so far is this horny elmer’s glue thing.

    that profile picture sucks.

    oh wait what? my bad!

  2. RyanB

Would be so much better if she cut the profile picture out and stuck her head in there instead… in my humble opinion.

I’m dressing as a tag cloud.

That pic looks kinda cool, by the way.

#3 - That’s her real head! haha the place for the avatar so-to say is cut out and you’re looking at her real face. I like it. creative!

    Go Canada!

  7. Shawn

She wasn’t the only one! Mississauga’s My Apartment nightclub had a girl with a similar costume. As you can see from the links below people were really into her costume, even creating wall postings!

  11. Matt

the myspace one is way better than the facebook one…but then again, we haven’t had our dose of facebook ass-kissing by TechCrunch today, so i guess they had to post the facebook one.

  12. Matt

    This is a horrible trend.

  13. airj1012

Nice idea but I saw this a year and half ago for a college theme. Oh well.

  14. RyanB

Much better than carrying around a piece of cardboard all day.

  19. Sean

Matt #11 - haha, no kidding.

I bet Michael about creamed his shorts when he saw this costume.

Michael, you should ask her out on a date - she’s perfect for you! :D

The TechCrunch/Facebook love-a-thon really has to stop. Please, you know, once and a while, write about something other than what Facebook is/will/might-maybe-someday do, or in this case, about someone dressing up as a damn Facebook page. Surely there are more interesting pictures; it is annual dress-like-a-prostitute day after all.

  21. boon

I’m going as a rusty trombone

  22. RyanB

    @ St Stephen - that’s clever.

  23. Fake Michael Arrington

My name is Michael Arrington and I can’t stop talking about Facebook.

I wake up in the morning and have a big bowl of Facebook cereal to start the day. It’s nice and crunchy :)

Then I put on my favorite Facebook shirt and I look in the mirror and say, “Today’s going to be a real Facebookeriffic day!”

I just can’t get enough of Facebook. It’s just sooo amazing. I think they should rename the Internet to “Facebookernet.”

Yes! Facebookernet it is. And today I will write five, no six, posts about Facebook because it’s just the best thing that’s ever happened.

Well, gotta go. I just heard that Facebook is going to change the way people upload their photos, and you know what that means! More Facebook news coming your way!! This is going to be great!

  24. RyanB

My costume was much better. I was a Myspace page and I was carrying around a Polaroid Camera adding random people into my “top 8″
