More Tickets for Boston-Bound TechCrunch MeetUp 11
by Erick Schonfeld on October 31, 2007

We are pleased to release our second batch of 250 tickets for the November 16 Boston MeetUp co-hosted with IDG Ventures Boston.

There also are a few spots left for start-ups to demo their products on site and what our CEO Heather Harde likes to call “creative sponsorship opportunities”. So far, we have sponsors picking up the tab for the music, specialty cocktails, themed entertainment rooms and a few other surprises. (Next thing you know, Heather is going to sell signage space on Mike’s forehead). If you are interested in supporting the event, though, please contact Jeanne Logozzo.

For more details, a list of participating sponsors, and to register to attend, please see our dedicated Boston MeetUp 11 page.

UPDATE: Tickets are sold old again. We will release the last round of tickets the week prior to the event.

  • wish I could join. may be we could do a virtual demo of our new product.

I’m totally there, I just signed up. That’s a work day so the other people here can’t come. Boston only about 5 hours away. I was there in March for the FSF annual meeting at MIT.

Will there be those little hot dog things? I love those, thanks.

  • Also, will it be open bar?

  • Can we bring a camcorder to produce blog content? I once video taped like 4 hours worth of stuff at Linux world in 2005 only to find out that I wasn’t supposed to. Nobody told me though and I posted everything online anyway including interviews with several people at Novell.

I would like to know before hand if possible. Thanks.

  • I love TechCrunch parties..attended the one in BED-NY.

  • Chris: Take a video of yourself name dropping everyone and every event you can think of so that it gets posted here. I’m sure we’ll play nice :)

  • Erick: You, too, have a great (fore)head for advertising.

Chris: Yes, attendees are welcome to photograph and video the event. Venue bandwidth is reserved for event sponsors, but everyone is welcome to memorialize the event with independent Internet access.

  • hahaha these tickets sell out way too fast!

  • Gotta hate when tickets get sold old into of sold out. Very stale and crunchy.

  • My advice when attending any Internet conference is bring your own EVDO or if your company demoing your product you need to run it locally!

Awesome, now all my readers can attend the conference as well.

I’m sure it would be a non stop verbal abuse festival. Thanks anyway though.

  • Lol, it would be great time if all readers of techcrunch participate in this event.

  • I have tried twice to get a ticket to this event and it seems like it is being organized by a bunch of third graders doing their first event. What is with your planning that you can’t seem to provide tickets to those who are willing to come to your site and sign up? This is like musical chairs in grade school.

Grow up and do it right next time.

    Best regards,

    David

  • Hey all –

I guess I’m really out of luck in getting tickets for this, so I’m just going to put it out there: who has an extra ticket on hand? who’s got a ticket but won’t be able to attend afterall??

I’ve even checked CL and nothing showed up…

    :)

    Thanks everybody!

    Elizabeth
