   Hmm….lets take Digg….spin into a mashup with a search concept, and then copy their weekly program, and attempt to make it funnier …… can see where the $16 million is going ……

   Not sure how you are going to beat 2 blokes sitting on a couch within anything shown here …… at least the chick is half hot ……

   Amit, don’t jump the gun…the actual Medellin hasn’t released yet on Entourage.

   I’m betting it’ll be a hit in theatres only ‘cuz it failed at Cannes.

   Ugh, terrible. Are we supposed to be amused? Watching this makes me feel awkward and uncomfortable

   Regarding content, Hollywood is still in charge by a mile.

   How about we all work on what we’re good at? For the sake of the rest of the planet please focus on coding!

   started out very funny - best part was rboom reference but kind of reaffirmed my gut feeling that Jason Calacanis is a wee full of himself and too many people care to
   indulge.

   I don’t get it.. I don’t get the reason for the site mahalo.com, and this podcast.
   THere’s so much compelling content out there. Podcasting isn’t mature enough for a seinfeld themed nothing show…

    Some people just aren’t funny nor interesting when they’re following a script somehow, and Jason seems to be one out of thousands that fall in that category. Veronica is ok but I think this format is overused and therefore not too compelling.

    Proof again that you gotta watch what you say on Twitter! It just might end up on TechCrunch. Great was probably an exaggeration and Calacanis wasn’t like Loic L. charming but I got a kick out of watching him interact with Veronica.

    That was…embarassing, really embarassing. I couldn’t watch the whole thing, it was too painful. Very sophomoric effort. What a waste of time. They’ve got the money, don’t they? Get a real team of writers, or something.

    This wasn’t even kind of enjoyable, and I like Mahalo. “We worked months to bring you this trailer.” Wait, seriously? Why say that, that’s just embarrassing. I wouldn’t advertise that fact. It’s obvious “the big JC’s” parts were done in about 30 seconds and nowhere near anything else. Does he think he’s Simon Cowell with the lame Diet Coke placement?

    Veronica’s full of something… but it sure ain’t talent. So let’s break this down: Hmmm… we find according to her Wikipedia page she’s Ryan Block’s girlfriend. Well, there’s the Calacanis link, cause I’m sure he actually trolls CNet looking for little known producers/web people. Didn’t I read somewhere that Peter Rojas’ girlfriend was a Navigator or Scout or Sky Captain or whatever they’re calling them at Netsc- oh yea, Propeller. There’s also a Kristin Sample writing for TV Squad (part of Jason’s old blog network), surely she couldn’t be related to CK Sample. Hmmm…. anyone see a pattern forming.

    She’s been there since July and this is all they could come up with? Oh, and that interview with Leeroy Jenkins that came about a year and a half too late. At this rate she should be reporting on the Bush/Kerry debate sometime in November. Oh, and if this remains “Daily” I’ll eat my hat.

    And we also know that Arrington and JC are in bed together, so it’s not like poor Duncan would be able to (God forbid) “report” his actual feelings that this thing is a big pile of stink. TechCrunch’s daily Jason Evangelism should be starting any day now. Did you know Calacanis’ tears can cure cancer? Too bad he never cries. Way to shred that last bit of respect TC.

    Disappointing. And seriously, I love Mahalo, this is just a ridiculously stupid attempt at giving a friend’s girl a job.

    Hahahah… the comments are as stupid as the video! But the video was intended to be!

    Why so much rant for a simple video that just attempted to be funny? Let’s respect other’s job and effort. It’s not easy to perform funny videos, and it is well done. Not that funny, ok, but.. why attack the people behind it?

    Moreover, the girl is so cute and clearly intelligent and talented. I could watch her other times.

    They have 16 mi because of proved capability, enough to get major investors’ trust. And the BEST thing is: they still have free time to make some jokes! I think only very smart people could be in such a position.

    If you guys work the whole day and don’t have a lot of money nor free time, that just proves how incompetent and one’s servant you are. (or maybe you’re just wasting too much time elaborating insignificant comments to TC).

    I wonder how many of the previous “big men hidden behind the computer” have done any substantial thing in life… or how many of you have a wiki entry describing your merits, as the “friend’s girl” has. Or even how many of you could fit well in a screen!
