And the scariest thing: he is so confindent Mike has done damage to him and the conclutions he jumps to are based on a very childish logic.

He stated on #569 that he works with beautiful women. On this he is correct as Ashton is a very beautiful women.

BTW, a pro photogs are always very aggressive about the copyright they exert, even to family portraits.

Richard never claimed to be a lawyer, but he made a big mistake by not consulting with one. He defends himself by saying he was driven by Mike’s failure to return his previous email. So he took the law into his own hands.

Why did he want case settled without the knowledge of “the media”?

I noticed he submitted an invoice as part of his email. Under the circumstances, this must be a crime. Yes?

I suspect Mike will forgive and forget.

It’s sad that the uneducated can make life so difficult for us techies.

To all the people contributing to this wonderful read I would like to thank you:

1. First I would like to thank all the “Richards” for your humorous posts. I have spent a pleasant, if somewhat confused , afternoon attempting to spot the bonafide bonehead. Bravo !

2. Thank you Michael, for not just blowing this guy off and allowing us to comment, great entertainment

3. To all who made serious attempt to shine a light on just why this butthead is full of it. again Bravo !! My understanding of how the net works has been enhanced between the guffaws.

4. To the real Richard I offer this quote :

I apologize to the dead author for not citing his name. But by now it must be in the public domain. As no one has claimed it I do so now and I offer it to you Richard as a personal mantra in perpetuity for $5,000.99
