Online petitions are great, but who listens?
Send them a real printed submission on a postcard with your personal message and even a photo as well. All printed and posted on behalf of the petitioner. http://www.scoop.co.nz rolled out a similar service. Watch for PRINT-POST button here http://www.scoo...0709/S00144.htm.

As one local politician put it to me once, he won’t even look at the 1000 signatures I collected unless there are at least 10 individual submissions.

We once had an Italian division and had no end of problems. They just want holiday, iron clad job security, something called lyra?
To make a long story short, after 3 years all we got out of them was 6 system icons, then people didn’t like those.
