If the person posting comments is not an impostor, it appears Salberg brought Arrington into the loop rather promptly.

This person has left two quite lengthy comments, revealing more details and his views about this issue. Those comments begin paragraphs with numbers as we see in the comment signed Salberg here.

Blogs being what they are, I can’t be sure it is the real Lawrence Salberg.

So apologies from me (#45) to the headhunter – a little disappointed with some basic (lack of) fact checking here at TC.

And as stated at comment #123 – Salberg’s soloincome.com … Hmmm, smacks of “get rich quick”, imo. Doesn’t help the matter that the site never reveals the name, any name, behind the scheme just wants you to become a paying Captain, ShipMate or FirstMate … really!

But that’s off the topic of this post – just some background information…

I’m no fan of PPP (far from it), but in this instance one must question Salberg’s judgment in emailing a wild rant AND then sending it off to the company.

Yes, that’s right…. According to Lawrence…

PPP workers are “Negroes”
Pacifists are pro-gay and anti-christian
Planned Parenthood is a “cesspool”

On his site he calls pacifists – “a died-in-the-wool, left-wing, diaper doper baby and afraid of any military conquest, except the invasion of the church by San Francisco homosexuals”

In his letter he calls PPP employees “Negroes” on a “modern day cotton picking farm”.

I’ve been observing neutrality until now…but when you look at PPP’s leader, business model and culture, I must say that Josh @ DJF bet on a wrong hand and can’t fold.

He Bcc’d the email to PPP, the headhunter did NOT send it to PPP, Salberg did it himself.
So Mike has the story wrong, blames headhunter, and then blames PPP for over reacting.
Salberg is the cause of this entire mess.

the type of interaction DOES NOT happen everyday and everywhere as you claim. It is absurd to think a company would react like that to a job candidate. It is even more absurd that the headhunter shared the email with PPP. I hope that headhunter goes out of business.

When will PPP’s investors wake up and cut the cord on these idiots?
