Make sure you check out what the hidden costs are with all of these providers (ie. double leg billing, options that you think would be standard that quickly rack up your monthly bill). Yes, RingCentral is a very good service for a sole proprietorship or very small business. The management team has done a great job of executing. But, the space is starting to draw attention from some companies with deeper pockets (i.e. J2 Global, aka eFax).

The fact that Grandcentral was sold was due to relationships at Google. They simply did a fantastic SALES job on Google when you take into account the rumored price of $50M with non-existing revenues.
