He has an ad already. It’s an ad for a scam anti-spyware product (screams malware infection, demands money, won’t really remove any malware, exploits the name of a legitimate product, associated with sleazy advertising).

Danny says blocking ads is stealing, but any fool who clicks on his ad and buys the product he’s advertising is going to feel robbed, as is the author of the legitimate anti-spyware product, whose good name and reputation is being stolen.

If you ask me, Danny is complicit in an act of theft in hosting the very sort of crooked ad that drives many to use adblock.

Come on, everybody knows that only one in every xx number of viewers is going to click an ad. So, now its only going to be one in every xx + a few will now click. It’s a volume game, not a per user game. What a small minded freak.

Carlton’s hissy fit’s obviously linkbait–and it’s also might result in a little google bomb. Guess his “make a donation” box wasn’t working all that well for him and he had to come up with this particular scheme to get people to click his ads.

I wonder who it was who gave him the advice to try this tactic (I wouldn’t be surprised if this was the case…)
