Hi some one mentioned about needing lot of money and multiple data centres needed for a better search engine. May be this company has recreated that situation. Check this scenario, the website (MLS) says that you need to download extension to use the programme. My hypothesis (may not be true) is that this extension may make user pc in to a very small data centre; in turn multiple user base can create potentially a large virtual computer network which could be a Google killer.

Well to all the doubters out there, you people are the clowns. I mean how dumb do you have to be to say if you dont have $150 billion and some rich backers behind you then you have no hope? Some of the bloggers have something behind them and its not money, I can tell you that. Just remember how most businesses start up! Google was not some multi million-billion dollar company. As the same with a lot of other internet based businesses. I know there will be sceptics and the like, but name calling and bagging before you see the product is silly. If these bloggers are so smart, then why didn’t they think of it? HUH? I can tell you one thing, I have seen the product, and it does work!

So to the genuine people who are waiting patiently, the wait will be worth it. To the morons who insist on name calling, the wait will be worth it for you too, even though you dont deserve it.

Why do so many of you look to criticize content before being appreciative of being informed? MLS is looking for coverage, and they’ve made some big claims. If they come through and it’s a Google-killer you’ll all say that you read about it on TC months ago, and if they don’t then TC will likely blast them for seeking hype without follow through. Either way, blogs and forums such as this serve to educate you, even if it’s to educate you on how much a site is setting itself up for success or failure.

Everyone’s a Google killer — why are these ones worthy to be mentioned? Because some reporter said it in Australia? I honestly thought this was a Duncan post — because I was reading it in my RSS reader (and given Australia being mentioned). But Mike, you wrote this?
