Pretty daring to compare Megavideo with YouTube. YT is a legal video site which tries (too much) to stay away from copyright issues, Megavideo is merely a chinese scam trying to make you pay for watching illegal videos. Besides that, the 72 minute limit to convince you about paying is ridiculous – if you check out 2-3 shows for 5 seconds and then try to actually watch one, it claims that you have watched 72 minutes now after a minute.

Megavideo is ripping off one of my videos. They cut off the end of the video that tells about my website, and added advertising at the front. Although they claim the owner of the video gains from ad income, I am not getting anything, nor did I give them permission to use my video. Please don’t support sites with such unethical practices.

Ok So megavideo sucks,youtube rules. The Only thing Megavideo is after is your money. They say they love you,but thats crap. Youtube,Stage6,Veoh are all free video supporting sites,that you don’t have to wait an hour or pay them. Unfortunitly many of the shows we don’t see on youtube, are on mega scrap.SO STOP UPLOADING VIDEOS ON MEGACRAP AND UPLOAD THEM ON FREE SITES!

I must admit though, I use the offline streaming trick for Megavideo for anime (though I try Veoh first… they’re free, and even gives you a downloader). Problem for youtube is the time limit. really, if youtube killed that, it would reign supreme (without no available competition)…

nope. does the same thing (though Megavideo’s is faster, more accurate and better). If you want to download videos, I watch in full screen and use a screen capture app (iShowU HD Pro for Mac)

Megavedeo sucks. They will only let you watch 72 minutes and then cut off whatever you are watching and make you wait for 2 hours before watching anything else. They say you dont have to do this if you buy a premium membership. I sat down to watch a 42 minute show and it stopped after 30 minutes saying I had watched for 72 minutes. Megavideo is a scam site and should be shut down. I dare all hackers out there to destroy the site… do some major damage and make them pay major costs to repair. This site is rubbish!

HAHAHA “This video has been removed due to infringement.” Megavideo does suck. I very much dislike finding myself staring at a new browser tab on firefox with an advertisement looking back at me each time I press “play”, not to mention the 72min limit is laughable. I will not pay to watch videos online while I am able to see it unrestricted and free somewhere else. They need to step up their game if they want to compete.

its only free for 72 (usually less) minutes. if you go over that you have to wait for 54 minutes to keep on using it.
that does not happen if you pay n amount of money on a monthly basis
