The site looks nice and can be a excellent startup. One thought that comes to my mind is they can do a unique feature for latest offers and sale in the local community as an add on.

Local community ads makes a huge difference to business and usually classifieds can be posted on sites like http://www.sulekha.com or http://www.meramaal.com.

Fashion Fotos – Another social shopping site to add to the list is ShopStyle (whom I work with). The site combines community and commerce – after all, what’s so fun about being inspired by your friend’s great “find” if you can’t buy it for yourself. Check out the site when you get the chance. I’m hoping its classic look and colors resonate with you.

I also have the breakdown of the current social shopping sites. You’re more than welcome to it though, Duncan, perhaps you’d like to take on the task of covering the category! Your wife would probably make for an excellent research partner.

We were actually able to take a look at the StyleMob beta a while back and it’s really targeted to the vintage-hipster crowd as one of the other commenters mentioned. Basically think Williamsburg, Brooklyn or Mission District, San Francisco. It’s definitely a niche audience but one that posts loads of pictures of themselves online (flickr has some pretty huge groups dedicated to the subculture).

I think its an interesting site. Not so sure about the colours though people have different tastes but that aside it could be appeal to a number of people. Unfortunately I am not one of them.

This site is target at hipsters more then “women who like clothes”. Theres also a section for men too.

From browsing the site for 20min this is mainly for trendy youth not high fashion euro-trash.

I can see one of these fashion dedicated social networks really taking off. If the knitting market can bear a functioning and successful network then a fashion dedicated site should be able to make some head room. I do like the hot or not type functionality but not sure if its enough to get the draw thats needed. I really think they should close things off and limit invites, that seems to be the way to make these things seem cool!
