The site combines community and commerce - after all, what's so fun about being inspired by your friend's great "find" if you can't buy it for yourself. Check out the site when you get the chance. Basically think Williamsburg, Brooklyn or Mission District, San Francisco. It's definitely a niche audience but one that posts loads of pictures of themselves online (flickr has some pretty huge groups dedicated to the subculture). If the knitting market can bear a functioning and successful network then a fashion dedicated site should be able to make some head room. I do like the hot or not type functionality but not sure if its enough to get the draw thats needed.
