The idea of the global navigation of the “5″ who,what,when where, how is amazingly generic; and amateurish.
I went there and guessed at your business model or flow; better than you described it.

I would disagree that we are not ready though. Our site is 90% complete, we already have a strong community base of supporters, and our concept has incredible potential.
Additionally, a simple generic method of explanation is usually preferable when your market is the regular world and not just the tech elite.
I appreciate the input though, even if negative. We welcome all feedback as this is the best way to improve the site.

Jason, that was a different story that wasn’t really picked up in the online world too much.
This is very likely a product plug, paid for by eventful.com.

Though that demand thing is buzzworthy. Why CNN would report it though is beyond me since its use is limited to Eventful users. how is that representative of true local demand for something?
I really can’t stand the direction CNN has taken in reporting very segmented, one-sided, specific stories. Going is sexier and Zvents more comprehensive and accurate; they should have at least alluded to those alternatives to stress that Eventful is the best place to request something, Going to find out who else is going, and Zvents to find things to do/go to.
