Michael: Is there any chance you could link directly to the homepage of the site you’re referring to instead of to your own CrunchBase? It’s misleading when you click on a link labelled Moo and don’t go to that website. I can understand what you’re doing, but it actually looks like a cynical SEO exercise at the expense of the user experience.

These guys should build a Facebook Application. If they created a nice app that was easy to use, they would instantly open the flood gates to the college crowds. I could see people buying these for parties, sporting events and even to hand out to friends.

Seem okay to try once, but then?.

The mini-cards are interesting — physical versions of click-ads.

I got some Moo cards as well. Very nice and people actually talked about them when i handed them out. * this is a plus people.

also, i had hoped for regular sized cards which hopefully they will do soon.

All in all a fantastic product for the price and the Buzz.

Simple and clean product. Photo sharing/upload, web based cropping ability, text placement, and print. I like the concept.

What about template based moo cards? I own a software company that launched a template based flash designa few months ago. We picked a difficult product - coins and poker chips - and allow folks to build/design coins from from a layered based template. Basically, pick template (organized by genre), upload photos, manipulate anything you want (layers, text, photos), and then print…a sort of photoshop environment online.

My question is this: Would you enjoy a version of Moo’s service that allowed more design flexibility? Or is it Moo’s simplicity that is positioning it for success in this market?

These cards are cool, I got some (100) printed from some of my Flickr photos. They are small and fun to hand out to people, I keep a few in my wallet. They come from England but they shipped pretty fast for me (I’m in CA).

That’s cool. The only problem with Moo is that their fulfillment is REALLY slow in the US. Not only does it take a while to print (which I understand) but because they’re int’l, it seems to just take a long time.

These days with the internets and all I have no patience for slow fulfillment.

Yet I will probably still order some stickers. My son will love them.

I love moo. I think they are an effing great service. I love the tone of all their marketing too - everything is so chilled and “human”-sounding, even the automatic mails you get from them. I use them for cute half-size business cards and recommend them to anyone looking for a flexible online printer.
