Screen Shot Of Yahoo Mosh; Plus Nokia Has A Mosh, Too

More updates from our post yesterday on Mosh, Yahoo’s new social networking initiative. One reader has sent in what could very well be a screen shot of the service. It could also easily be a quickly mocked up fake, but I don’t care because Darth Vader holding a banana and a guitar is something that I feel compelled to put up on TechCrunch.

If it’s real, my guess is the Mosh team is located in Building 2 in the Sunnyvale offices. Hi guys.

Two readers have told us about Nokia Mosh, which appears to be a completely separate product with no connection to Yahoo Mosh. Screen shot of that is below also, and a screencast of the password-protected site is here.

    The yahoo mosh screenshot must be fake. The guy is using IE6 with Yahoo Toolbar.

    Vader, the banana, and the guitar are a really cool mix, I have to say. Nokia Mosh looks very interesting, too. Hardly any noteworthy mascots, but it still looks pretty good.

    While I can neither confirm nor deny the authenticity of bananas and guitars, I do know Mosh has a screen for non-users depicting an evil villain swinging a shredding instrument while toasting with monkey food.

    They’ve nicked my nickname! I’ve had moshville.co.uk registered for years, moshtour.me.uk and moshblog.me.uk registered for just over a year, and moshtech.co.uk for something in between. Even my football shirts have MOSH on the back!

    I feel defiled! And not in a good way ;)

    Can I sue? Can I? Hmm?
