We’ve gotten word that Fox has closed the acquisition of Photobucket, has wired the money to the Photobucket shareholders and will issue a press release tomorrow.

Seeing a $50m wire transfer into any account has got to be seriously sexy.
Would be very interesting what the people at Fox have to say about all this. I’ll be keeping an eye out for that press release, thanks for the heads up!
This adds a new dimension to the IGN family and is a great acquisition for Fox in terms of new traffic and users.
Fox has been on a role over the last couple of years – when they fine tune the monetization of all their properties, they’ll see some serious growth in revenues.
Fox, Who is next but can they really use what they already have.
