Fox Completes Photobucket Acquisition

We’ve gotten word that Fox has closed the acquisition of Photobucket, has wired the money to the Photobucket shareholders and will issue a press release tomorrow.

This adds a new dimension to the IGN family and is a great acquisition for Fox in terms of new traffic and users.

Fox has been on a role over the last couple of years - when they fine tune the monetization of all their properties, they’ll see some serious growth in revenues.
