A hint at those who want to know what this company is up to when it comes to bad and unethical business practices : try to investigate their mobile chat products… No wonder, people are asking for refunds. This should tell you a lot, and wait, behind the curtain, there is much more than that to make you wonder. To get an idea, just take a look at the work of Nacodine, the wanabe graphic designer.

I didn’t expect more coming from a cellfish employee

Not only does everyone receive that title, but you also get UNDERPAID, treated like garbage and on top of it all, lied to about how well things are going.

Word on the street is, the only members that did sign up, requested their money back. Could it be another scam?

As for Nacodine, its amusing that you have the blingtones in your portfolio. I wonder if you worked for Cellfish before!?!?!?!

By the way, your graphic design skills are horrible. Must be a European thing.

If people are ready to pay premium taxes for ugly content, let them do it.

Their primary target are low-tech customers & teenagers. It worked for a while in Europe. Mobile content providers & carriers have been doing it for a while but now they are afraid because the business is not in such a good shape. They must find new ways to make money. cellfish.com is a “smart” move, but I am not convinced that the unfair bizness pratices commonly seen in the mobile market can translate successfuly on the internet. Only time will tell.

Granted, media from Ringtones & other Lagardère brands are legal, nevertheless I am curious to know what was the deal you made with the artists; did it include “free on internet” ?

I don’t fell like turning around the point so if you dont like the product and your not convinced of it, stop wasting your time replying and trying to find the tiny thing to talk about!

In a world where in a year half of the global population would be equipped with mobile phones, I as an artist would use cellfish.com to reach out to all my customers.

I would use this technology (please give a site that offer the same service for free) to communicate, inform and interact with any one threw any device: pc, mobiles, blackberries, anything.

the revolution isn’t downloading a Tune or a picture to your mobile, the revolution is to allow you access it from anywhere any time no matter how many mobile devices you change!

Have you ever taught of changing you mobile device ? oh wait do you have one ?

ps: im a graphic designer and proud to be, but if u think i’m a sales Rep, u just gave me an idea, why not applying for that at cellfish.

Why because your company has a bunch of money to over power smaller companies? Your company has been in the news for more negative points than possitive.

Not too long ago you were sited in the news for a racist ringtone. But some how your company is better than every other provider why?

Why pay money to your company to download ringtones when anyone including my mother could make them herself. Phones come with software now. This isn’t 1990.

Jason Jenkins – I hate to tell you, but your site is horrible and your content doesn’t even bring a word to mind to describe how horrible it is.

The final point of why this website is already behind would be the DRM. You want me to pay how much for a DRM’d song? Why not just buy from EMI off iTunes or direct and get a DRM free song through a reputable company. You call yourselves a revolution in the mobile industry yet theres no sign of anything that hasn’t been done already. Where’s the revolution? Still in your office?

Another scam another day.

- We have a moderation team that screens new content and aggressively removes copyrighted media, we also allow any user to flag a media for moderation if something slips through.
- We take a strict stance on audio uploads, no uploaded audio is available to share to others, it is only available to you within your Private Locker (which, IIRC falls within the bounds of fair use).
- Content downloaded to your phone is automatically forward locked (cannot be attached to an MMS or transfered via Bluetooth) assuming your handset supports the feature.
- Premium downloads which cost credits are provided through licensing agreements with content providers.

We’re legit, really. We’re not out to rip anybody off. We just want to share stuff on our phones.

I approach the site from the perspective of a user, and it’s mostly about convenience. Suppose you have a device that has Bluetooth. But maybe the function that allows you transfer files has been disabled by the manufacturer or carrier. Sure, you could transfer it through the cable, but then you’d need the cable and appropriate drivers. Sure, you could transfer it via Micro- or Mini-SD, but then you’d need both the card and an adapter. I’ve gotten full songs (which I uploaded myself) on my Blackberry just by using the Cellfish site, and I’m thankful I’m able to, otherwise I’d be stuck with the default crap that RIM put on there. I already paid for the CD, why shouldn’t I be able to put it on my phone as opposed to an iPod?

the site is not a cheap knock off of myspace and youtube, simply because cellfish is about mobile revolution more than web.
