That’s an AT&T store, not an Apple store.
Why should I sent it to Crunchgear?
I’ve seen Apple vending machines in Macy’s with iPod videos, nanos, and cases. They should stick the iPhones in there too. That’d be awesome.
how long will it take to charge a phone?
I’d imagine the charging stations are there ready for the demo iPhones?
it almost looks like an iPhone arcade game

This phone will be one of the Apple’s biggest hits. Hype and the actual coolness of the device is amazing. After watching that 20 min intro on Apple site, I can’t see how this can fail.
Mike, thats exactly why it will fail. expectations are way to high, how can it do anything but underwhelm?
Yeah, look at the size of that screen! How the hell are you supposed to carry that thing around?
Everybody is forgetting one thing, this bad boy costs, what , $600 or something like that. hey , dont get me wrong, im getting one, but if $600 was scratch to everyone, then ps3 would be dominating too.
I would love to have an iPhone but it’s really expensive.
I am just a student and I know that the iPhone targets busniess men.
The iPod became popular mainly because of students and teenagers. The iPhone doesn’t aim the same population.
it’s amazing what apple has done, amazing - to say the least.
all the iphone is is existing devices - combined into one.
nothing really new…but since it’s apple doing it - well, lol - it’s an iconic masterpiece in history
I would just love to see and use an Apple Vending Machine - sounds so cool. We don’t have those in Europe - at least I have never seen one…
The first iPhone campers have established their place in line at the New York City … Someone posted a Youtube video of the iPhone kiosk at AT&T stores.
Yes! these are at AT&T stores. You can find more here at flickr.

yeah the charging has to be for the Iphone / or demos of anything else -
- @ $600 / it will be a hard sell to most people /
- If PS3 were $600 AND THE ONLY PLAYER in the market (like Iphone) then it would have smashed what it is doing now
- honestly / IPHONE has created with / hype and genius its own market
I think those docks are probably to charge iPHONES not iPODS.
The calling plans for the iPhone are worth it:

For the combined $$ I’ve spent for an iPod, cell phone, and a GPS, the iPhone is worth getting for $600.
I played with one on Sunday at the AT&T store in the Valley Fair mall in San Jose.
Tyler, stop lying.
What the heck is the point?
