This is the best thing they have going from them as far as I'm concerned. They have no choice but to protect somebody's rights: either the rights of the people who took the risks and did the work, or the rights of the people who did nothing to earn them. They made the right choice. Want to see what our quality of life would be like if intellectual property wasn't protected? Visit a third-world country.
