i am all for this game. i just wish there was something out there that was either free or alot cheeper. if you could provide something like that, it would be awesome. i know wii and some hand held gaming devices offer games like this but all i have is a computer. i dont want to have to go out and buy a whole new system just so i dont get stupid! i think you should go forward with your plan to build an "intelligence" site.

I tried neuro-nation.com - It was very user friendly and nice.
I have alos possibility to add my friends and watch their progress.

Neuro-nation.com is advertise based so its totally free., not like others that just give you 7 days of training.

SO every one that are interessted in giving their brain a work out, start today!

Brain games are a really interesting way to support healthy brain functioning.

However, one should also try neuro-nation.com and fitbrains.com before paying for the lumosity brain games. I think both sites are better than lumosity because they have community functionality.

I have used Lumosity and have found it to be great. The memory exercises at first weren't so easy, then overtime I found that they didn't have a difficulty hard enough for me. The fact that I had trained my short term memory better led to me being able to process things faster as well, and I actually have seen differences in my every day life. I'd recommend playing Lumosity to anybody, as we not only need physical exercise, we also need mental exercise.

Ive also been looking through many of these brain games. One product that caught my attention and I have stuck with is Posit Science's (www.positscience.com) Its fun enough to keep me interested and I have already begun to see positive changes. It's really worth taking a look at their website.

Nice game, but I´m sceptic about the IQ stuff. These exercises probably have zero effect on a person´s intelligence. I also noticed that my IQ score jumped up and down about 20 points depending on when I took the test...

I've actually been taking 10-minute breaks throughout the work day to work through the training program (of which I've finished about a third). It's nice to see your scores slowly improving.

Also, it makes you feel a bit better about yourself than, say, playing Sudoku would.

Despairing, it's probably more fun that fitness regimen, don't lose too much sleep if it's not strictly scientific or whatever. It's a nice changeup regardless.

This was fun and even addictive, but I don't see how they could standardize this, given variance in people's monitor sizes and input mechanisms (keyboard and mouse). Standardization would mean they could have badges, you know, for bragging rights and all that. Although I guess that isn't the point so much as the potential for individual improvement.

If I'm using a 30" monitor at 800x600 then the bird watching would seem to get a lot easier.
