Mike,

With SmartLinks BlueOrganizer goes beyond Firefox into the web pages. Please take a close look at the bottom section of adaptiveblue.com

Hello,
In defense of Dan, it IS a fact that Adaptive Blue is simply a FireFox plugin. There are thousands of Firefox plugins.

Please see:
http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp

IE6 has nearly double the penetration that Firefox has. IE6 was released in 2k1... IE7, which was released (to you) just over a year ago, is at 19.2%.

Does Firefox abide by standards and accessibility? YES.
Does Firefox perform well? YES.

Do those who primarily develop for Firefox users make money? NO.

Does Firefox bank heavily on what their crying beta testers want? YES.

Do some research on where your OS derived from and grow up a bit.

As Adobe’s Apollo (J2EE), Sun’s JavaFX (J2EE), and Microsoft’s SilverLight (.NET) platforms are hitting the community all at once, you must understand that putting all your eggs in Apple / Starbucks / FireFox isn’t smart.

Actually it would be very cool to see a homeless person with an apple laptop though.

Keep it up guys!

Hi Chris,

This is a good question. We have plans to add support for Microformats, just waiting for Mozilla to do it first so that we do not roll out redundant functions. As it stands right now, BlueOrganizer supports a wider range of things like Books, Movies, Wine, Travel Destinations, etc and there are no corresponding things in Microformats.

Dan, you seem like a pretty funny guy. It always amuses me when people bitch about an article, then have enough motivation to comment on how much they hated it. What's next? Hitting yourself with a hammer and then bitching about how much it hurts?

About the article... AdaptiveBlue does seem very interesting. Fred Wilson seems like a pretty stable VCist, and Alex (founder of AdaptiveBlue) definitely has a good overall vision.

Dan
this isn't just an ordinary Firefox extension with links, it's a whole lot more than that, read some of the earlier coverage for more info.
