It would be really superb if there was real-time streaming / virtual conferencing being held – so that the entire globe could participate

It is ironic that many of the WEB 2.0 conferences are still in the Conference 1.0 era.

Why not have an optional live stream with a chat room so that the world can learn, give feedback and interact. It is a no-lose situation.

Set up another blog just for this purpose and add archive pics and podcasts and video.
