iphoneebay.pngApple 2.0 posts that pre-sales of Apple’s iPhone on eBay are not only reaching lofty figures, but promise to deliver the phone on or around June 14, before previously speculated launch dates for the most hyped phone in history.

The listings, three of which can be visited here, here and here range in bids from $615 to $1025 at the time of writing and come from eBay sellers with solid reputations. The lowest feedback score of sellers amongst the 3 listings is 99.0% and one is a eBay Power Seller.

Seller vg5620 notes in their listing that the brand new 8 GB Apple iPhone listed will work on Cingular and is due to be released in the U.S. in June.

Previous experience tells us not to 100% trust the dates ;)
We shall wait and we shall see.

Will we see “iPhone Box” for sale on eBay? I bet yes.

Being a powerseller means you sold $1k for 3 months straight … (At the minimum)

- that isnt that hard to do.. But I think these guys are not risking their whole identity to - make 1-2k on a couple phones.

I’m in the market for a new phone, anyone know if iPhone will be available on Sprint?

Ah the iPhone!

*drools*

To the best of my knowledge it will sold exclusively through Cingular/ATT “initially”. This is dumb, but I have Cingular so I will be one of the first in line

Puh-leeeeze… these are fraudulent listings, period. None of these sellers has a truly “trustworthy” rating and are probably pumped up ratings - 2 of them don’t even have > 100 ratings.

SCAM!

Too bad if only Cingular/ATT carry iPhones. My current provider is Sprint/Nextel. I guess I have to switch provider.

Hey! Who raped the iPhone picture for this article? A Palm browser on an iPhone? Yuck!

The worst thing about the iPhone is closing it off to third party developers. Opening it up will breed new ideas and great applications. Im sure developers will find a way around it.

No kidding! Scrollbar people. SCROLL BAR. The iPhonies don’t need no steenkin scrollbarrrr. It’s funny. While many have put the iPhone interface on dozens of other phones, thereby boosting their appeal, you put the interface of another phone on the iPhone, and its immediately obvious… and sad looking. Interesting. I’m still anxious to see how the PDF reader will look browsing documents. I have a bunch of digital comics I want to cart around. I sincerely hope the “video” is not the only viewer that outputs to external screen displays. I’d love to use it with a iLuv i1055 or iFlip for reading or web browsing as well as video.

So now we’ve stooped to getting rumors from EBAY?!

Tick tock tick tock the countdown has begun. Need iPhone, want iPhone NOW!

all this is is a sidekick 3 with a little more accesories and a lot higher price
