what im confused about is why someone would do this when there is the tc conference which is supposedly free (yet attendees have to 2nd mortgage the house)

You have your TC20 coming up, and there is this SuperNova conference as well.

Should I submit to both ? Of course, free is better than $5K fee, but that is not the deciding factor. Do you review and help choose the SuperNova entries ? If so, and you see the same entry for TC20, does that hurt the chances for TC20 ?
