supernovalogo.pngIn case you missed your chance to present at O’Reilly’s Web 2.0 Expo, which wrapped up last week in San Francisco, Kevin Werbach’s Supernova conference is gearing up for its own launch on June 20-22 at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco under the theme Defining the New Network.

There is just one week left to submit your company for consideration for the Connected Innovators program, which is being co-sponsored by TechCrunch to spotlight the companies most likely to make a significant impact on the connected future of the Web. Twelve buzzworthy companies will have the opportunity to deliver on-stage presentations during a Supernova general session on June 21. TechCrunch will provide coverage of the presentations. The company submission form, along with additional details on selection criteria, marketing benefits and program features are available here. The submission deadline is April 27.

Last year’s presenting companies include: Attensa, Ether, Lifeio, Netvibes, PostApp, PROTOMOBL, Sharpcast, SoonR, StumbleUpon, Vpod.tv, Webaroo and Zixxo.

As a reminder, SuperNova has extended a $200 registration discount to TechCrunch readers through May 11. Register using “crunch2e” for the two-day main conference or “crunch3e” for the full conference.

    Mike,
You have your TC20 coming up, and there is this SuperNova conference as well.

Should I submit to both ? Of course, free is better than $5K fee, but that is not the deciding factor. Do you review and help choose the SuperNova entries ? If so, and you see the same entry for TC20, does that hurt the chances for TC20 ?

Wasn’t LifeIO supposed to launch like a year ago? How have I survived this long without it?!

    $5000. Wow.

$5000 to speak for 10 mins at Supernova - with a bunch of 3rd rate speakers? You must be having a laugh. Suddenly, every Tom, Dick and Harry wants a “web 2.x” conference. Verdict…waste of time…

Actually, that should have read…. “Suddenly, every ‘Mike’, Dick and Harry wants a “web 2.x” conference. Verdict…waste of time…” LOL

what im confused about is why someone would do this when there is the tc conference which is supposedly free (yet attendees have to 2nd mortgage the house)

didn’t michael come out against paid showings?

  7. Bobby

btw isn’t this a paid post? i thought tc was one of the founders?

do you have a conflict of interest in posting this? does techcrunch get any financial benefit from the success of this particular program?
