Froogle may have been lame as far as the name went, but it listed many more products than the new Product Search. Now, if it's not part of Google Checkout, it won't show up. Buh!

I thought "Froogle" was a great name - clever and witty. They should have stuck with it. More proof that corporate hacks don't have a sense of humor or style. The name would have worked fine if they had actually invested any effort or money in promoting it.

Think it was one heck of a stupid move, froogle was a great site, always usefull in helping me find what i was looking for. Think the whole google craze itself has died down, it only caught on because its a funny word. In my opinion its probablyt not the smartest move this company has ever made. And to all those who feel its nessacery to correct others spelling just o ou can post somthing, guess what i dont care if my spelling is not correct.

Good move by Google. Will certainly help them, since froogle looked like a fake copy of Google earlier when I heard about Froogle I thought that someone have copied Google like name and thenI I found that it's official site for product searches.

Lest we forget how neo-con Google is:
Google has sued Froogles.com, charging the rival shopping search engine with trademark infringement.
Hope they pay this site lots of money for fighting about something not worth fighting about!!!!!

Was wandering where my froogle went? I thought foogle was a great name for the service. Before froogle I usually used pricewatch, but since froogle took off pricewatch hasn't been like it used to be. I liked froogle because I could usually find cheaper products than with most shopping based searches and I usually used google to find cheapest prices anyway. It is a great tool if you know how to use it and a lot faster than trying to just google it. I really don't see how someone can say froogle was useless, but then again "you have to smarter than the pen to use it effectively". From most of the above posts that I see most people did not know how to use the engine properly, I always found what I was looking for.

Froogle really attracts not much attention, even for the deal hunter. It's the last web site I'd like to go, if I can't search any deals or promotional products in other web sites.

If Google will put more focus on this service, I'm all for the change. It's actually surprising with their marketing muscle that it has not been more of a challenger to the other shopping sites.

I like the way Google is trying to integrate their business tools; hopefully, this will be another step in that direction.

I had to look up froogle when I saw the option in admin, hadn't a clue what it was.

Its well cool and its free, unlike some others I can mention where you get better placed by paying for it such as kelkoo etc makes it harder for those starting out with a limited budget.
