		<description>As PJ correctly points out, one of the arguments against YouTube being a host revolves around the transcoding of videos into FLV format. I don’t see how the traditional definition of a “host” as contemplated when the DMCA was drafted would apply to a service that formats content. Essentially, YouTube is directly involved in the infringement not only because it has a significant financial incentive but because it directly facilitates infringement through the prepartion of the content for display.

		<description>I think this whole you tube thing is ridiculous. I think the whole copyright thing is getting ridiculous. It seems a company will go after another one not doing them harm out of principal. 

They seem to have this sort of superiority complex which makes these copyright laws not about money but simply power.

I compare this to a penis measuring contest where Google and Viacom are arguing over who has the bigger dick when in actual fact they are both small.</description>
