Cmon, Anti Mac users have never spent time with them I have both at work and at home. They are both great although i never have to run spyware or adware or antivirus stuff. The only real problem with Mac is that the selection of software is sometimes limited. Stop the Hate Try them both Its only a freakin computer ya know

I can't believe the animosity from anti-Mac people. What's your deal Dizz? It's like you're a computer racist. How is it that you get so riled up by 6% market share. How can you possibly feel threatened that 6% of the population feels good about doing something different from you. I think you must have some deep deep issues that you need to look into. Either that, or deep down inside you know that Vista is just a copy of Mac OS X.

i like apple's commercials - pokes fun, indirectly, at microsoft and dell.

it makes them look like traditional, boring, cubicle-working squares.

steve has done wonders, no arguing with that - apple was on the brink of sinking, till steve nearly dominated the mp3 player market - now moving onto everything portable.

with apple's 'hip pedigree' and with steve at the helm...i don't see any serious competitor to apple right now.

I think the world can learn a lot from Apple's marketing. Like it or hate it, its clever, it focuses on the end-to-end user experience, and builds beautiful items of technology that are a joy to use. If only the rest of the world applied this approach: to architecture, to customer call centres, to parks, etc...

I want to rant about Macs - I think they are crap. A computer is only a medium in which to connect to rich applications and content. I can't wait until the whole mac vs. windows and everyone else thing is over and the hardware in which we connect to the internet becomes as mundane as the toaster oven. There is a reason that so few computers out there are Macs. If they didn't hold on to the hipster theme they would just be another box that less than 3% of the world uses.

Oh yeah, and those commericals make no sense as well. Why should a computer be fashionable or cool? That's like if I painted a hammer black and silver and said it was only for "cool" carpenters. Apple projects this image that mac people are trendy and shit. It's all pretty lame.

Apple's DRM keeps getting cracked, so what does Apple do? Tell the RIAA to forget about DRM. Now that code is tight!

Mac's OS x is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I wonder how long will it be before it's wrought with viruses?
