Channel Frederator: Original Animation Awards Tonight
by Michael Arrington on January 24, 2007

If you like original animation, you should subscribe to the Channel Frederator RSS feed. Each week they put together an episode containing some of the best user-submitted animation. They’ve published 66 episodes so far.

Tonight they are hosting an award party in Hollywood for the best videos as determined by viewers. The winners have already been announced here.

Some of the winners are excellent (my favorite is this one). Others are funny. This one, however, make me want to engage in violent behavior. All are worth a look.

this site rocks. i know mr. frederator personally. know one could ever pull a site like this off with the same editorial credibility fred brings to the table.

i’ve been using it for a while and downloading vids to my ipod. it’s made so many of my nightmarish flights a walk in the park.

i long for the day when sites like this replace the “broadcasted” animation we’re generally forced to watch.

Haha, awsome.. A bit slowish from accross the ocean though

Awesome indeed. I really like it too.

Great stuff … Im glad I now have a fresh source of animation to chuckle at.
I visit the CG Society (www.cgsociety.org ), they interview producers and link to quality animations.

Sno-bo pulls you in with its gorgeous animation, then bops you on the head and throws you in a hobo-pack. Great subversive stuff. Finally, a place to see and show new animation

Way cool! Always the latest and greatest, and well worth a daily drop-in.

HA!

“The Dongpacolypse is the ultimate weapon in the unending war against you stupid hairy vagina”

(from “WTF?!” another one of the winners)
