I wouldn't be so sure the name is confirmed. Cisco is reportedly gearing up for a lawsuit against Apple, because Cisco already has the trademark on "iPhone" - and Apple was reportedly already aware of that when they named their new device. As Gizmodo mentioned, the Cisco iPhone is a VOIP device.

[...] Notwithstanding Apple’s announcement today of the sale of 2 billion songs on iTunes (all with DRM), most of the recent market signs suggest that the eventual demise of DRM is inevitable. Consumers are more frustrated than ever that certain file types are playable only on certain devices. The only real questions are when, and will it be replaced with something far more sinister?
[...] “Once again, Apple CEO Steve Jobs wowed the crowds like no one else can. In his 9 am keynote at MacWorld in San Francisco this morning, Jobs announced the new iPhone cell phone. From the description in appears to be a game changing device, and the public markets seem to agree. As of the time of this writing, Apple stock is up over 7% for the day.
It's a nifty tool. One thing I am a bit disappointed about is the 'exclusive partnership' with Cingular. They could not have chosen a worser service. For the 30+ million users on the other networks, it will be a tough sell for apple and cingular. Service over gadget seems to be the winning formula, imho.

There are two models. The 4 GB is $499. The 5 GB is $599. They won’t be available until June. Oh. Great.

Shouldn't that be The 8GB model is $599.00?? Or do you have some inside info that I have missed!

Jorge, 5 hours is comparable. Souped up or regular? It's called an iPhone, but you know it's more than that. Anyhow, go check any comparable device or regular cell phone. Here, I'll help you:

Where do you come up with the specs for 10 hours?

[...] Wow, the world is so surprised: iPhone and AppleTV. Certainly whilst the phone looks somewhat appealing, taking a hard look at the product specs for both under whelm, and certainly you’d think that at the end of the day the hype was totally undeserved…but then again maybe I’m not drinking from the same Apple Kool Aid fountain that most of the blogosphere and MSM are drinking from.
