Do you use ScribeFire?...

Do you use ScribeFire, formerly known as Performancing, a firefox add-on to write/edit blog without accessing the blog administration page?
I just installed and tried it a few hours ago, and edited past entries, but it’s not as good as WordPress...

[...] Whatever happened, this isn’t pretty. After the deal was announced, Performancing moved their non-acquired assets to a new domain name and re-launched that service. They certainly stopped talking to other potential acquirors, given that the deal was officially announced. In merger-land, this is what’s known as “being left at the altar” because everyone down the road who you talk to will want to know why the previous deal exploded.
ScribeFire/ PFF is an absolutely brilliant plugin. Without it, I couldn't blog as many posts and articles as I do every week. I've tried different tools and even reviewed and written about other research tools, but everything leads me back to the Performancing for Firefox plugin (PFF, now ScribeFire). Sure it has a few bugs, but they're manageable. Jed Brown has done a stand up job on this ultimate blogger's tool. The only other tool I really have to use is Firefox and a mindmapping tool such as FreeMind, Mindapp, or MindJet MindManager, and Bloglines or Newsgator.

I signed up for the Performancing Ad Partners a month or so ago and was not thrilled when I first read about the Pay per Post deal. I then was glad to find out that the Ad Network was not part of the now dead deal.

It's a great add-on and it's always been very actively developed which is always a good sign. I think this name is definitely better than the original. It always felt a little vague before and was never allowed to distinguish itself from the rest of the Performancing umbrella.

It's an excellent extension. I couldn't imagine blogging without it to be honest.

I am glad it's alive and kicking, and I do like the new game.
