I’m surprised that you don’t mention ANYTHING about what initially was LaLas biggest selling point and that is the “Z Foundation” and how they were going to give 20% to musicians.

But to this point NOTHING has been done with the Z Foundation, no updates on how much has been raised, what pans they have for this money or anything else.

When they first launched they had the Z Foundation EVERYWHERE on the site. Now go there and there is nothing. Instead they have purchased a radio station and have created a store to buy new cds. I thought the point of lala was to trade used so you don’t have to buy new? At least that’s why I joined.

This is a great way to start a company. Say you’re going to give 50% of your revenue to charities to get people behind you and then as you grow slowly fade the giving away idea and add other ways to make money. Brilliant!

Chris, Chuck has been with the stones since 1982 (the following excerpt is from the wiki page of the link you posted…)

In the summer of 1982, to commemorate their 20th Anniversary as a band, the Stones’ took their successful American stage show to Europe; European Tour 1982 was their first European tour in 6 years, and was joined by former Allman Brothers Band piano player Chuck Leavell who continues to play and record with the Stones to this day.

Absolutely…to me a live concert is just a part of the whole music experience like listening to a song…watching a music video, etc
