Go2Web2 writes about Berlin-based eboy, which sells a number of cool pixel object posters as a side business to working with clients like Wired, Amazon, Microsoft and many others. A few days ago they put this web 2.0 poster (click image to see it in full size) on sale. Get it for 16 Euros plus shipping, in time for the holidays. I’m buying mine now. See their other posters here.
Is your company logo included?

For some reason my humor website isn’t included … strange, since a couple months ago I tried an AJAX comment system for a week. That qualifies me, right?
Seriously though, I’m not sure where I’d put this unless my company was on the poster. If it wasn’t so cartoony looking, it would be really cool in my office, and my family would just laugh at me if I put it up at home, so I guess I’ll have to skip.

Shipping to the US is 15 Euro as well (the cheaper option I might add), the total cost being approximately $41 USD. (!?)
Could have been so much more. 2.0 yet Yahoo and Amazon are on it? Where’s Microsoft and Pets.com then???
For your premium adslots, you say no animation. Yet the top banner ad on your page is the incredibly annoying and distracting little jumping guy with the screaching voice, linking off to http://www.raketu.com/en/index.php
No Consumating.com ???? what a travesty.
Very nice pixel are though.. I give them that. I can imagine they had hundreds of sites they could have included, but that would make for a never ending project.
Ben - Wow. I agree. That is so lame. I won’t be renewing with them. That voice when you click that button is…awful.
I really don’t get how Myspace should be included. Can anyone tell me how it is Web 2.0?
Why isn’t there a red light district?
Yahoo, Amazon, MySpace (and MS for that matter) _SHOULD_ be included. All of these companies have done something to contribute to “Web 2.0″.
Yahoo - great dev site with lots of web 2.0 UI code…for free
Amazon - S3, ECS, Alexa…
MySpace - social networking
MS - live.com, plus you know, they pretty much invented ajax
Very cool drawing! I have always been a big fan of eboy. Anyway, another site that didn’t make the cut was http://www.citypixel.com but if you appreciate pixel art like eboy’s then check it out.
You might want to put a NSFW on the eboy link since–even on the first page–some of the stuff he makes gets kind of racy.
Agree with Bryan, there is a NSFW image on one of your links (to the general poster list).
Looks great
*goes to order one*
I’m glad to see that WordPress was included.
was his poster also profiled in the Business Week issue of earlier this year? they were profiling Google in that issue…
When you see these in cities all the time, then you realize those businesses had to pay to be included in the map.
This appears to be genuine.
I’d like to sell spaces for a second- or third-tier web 2.0 map where heck ya you just pay for your business to get a spot and look important. Reserve your spot now hardee har har har
Interesting, at least someone has found a way to earn from the Web 2.0 hype.
Sometimes i wrote on the topic - why content is still not kng - http://mediavidea.blogspot.com.....-king.html
Sorry to interrupt this geeky-discussion - what exactly is this good for?
In real life I mean…
John - it’s good to look at the tc logo all day…
Sorry, but how ugly.
I brought the poster, cost about $40 AUD and spent another $30 having it block-mounted, but one thing that is really bugging me: who are the mischievous red mice with ‘M’ on on thieir chests?
5who is gonna buy it????
