I believe www.whereinprague.com is the next twist for a pixel-site.
Online logo-maps for cities!

And the good thing is that everyone can make his/her own.. :)

Novel Idea
HI Nateli.
I have got an idea of making an website, which will sell the peice of moon. Means any person

can write the message on the moon.
Surprised??
Yaa virtual moon...
The whole plan starts:
If you are asked something like this:
"What if you are given the chance of writing the name or message for your loved one on the

moon"
What will your answer would be. Yes of course...
It is also said in many love stories about comparing the moon with the face of their loved ones

So my idea is to sell the peices of moon to those person, who can do any thing for their loved

ones.

This idea could be great hit in the coming days as the valentine is coming up..
as i do not have techinical expertise to develop the website, if any body of you can I will be

great ful to you, because I will be the first person to book the space on the moon. as i am

also among one of the lovers.

I'm doing the same in just 21 steps and I'm halfway there already. (11 to go) One of the 21 advertisers on stepuptoamillion.com will get £1 Million and the other £1 Million will go to charity. This in total is nearly 4 Million Dollars since I'm doing it all in pounds. I get nothing from this site it's all for charity I don't even have adwords to make a quick buck on the side. Check it out and support the cause and together we can Make Poverty History

I'm a firm believer in attracting TARGETED traffic. His website is a flea market that attract exactly that - FLEAS.

That's why you don't see reputable MNCs with multi-million dollar advertising budgets investing a single cent on the first website.

Neither do you see rich and successful internet marketing gurus placing a single ad there.

Alex Tew's idea may work again, but so what? If you are the smart entrepreneur like me, model after successful businessmen and save your ad dollars. Except if you are selling porn.

MDH was a fantastic idea but it was Web 1.0 - I hope Alex Tew can repeat his success and I wish him all the luck because he's going to need it badly this time but I highly doubt lightning strikes twice.

He should have come up with the Web 2.0 alternative. I strongly believe he was beaten to it on this occasion: The Million Dollar Advert.com.

A brilliant idea following on from the same business model as MDH. But this is Search Engine friendly and helps advertisers with SERPs rankings. A win win situation not nicessarily driven by useless clicks.

What im impressed and proud about is that charities and non-profit organisations all get their share of the goodness. They're entitled to a free keyword (not sure how long this offer is open for) on themilliondollaradvert.com website. But the idea is more affordable for small businesses anyway, since the starting price is only $10 rather than a minimum purchase of $100 - $200.

I think Alex is pushing his luck on this one.

We love his original ingenuity and in fact have paid tribute to him by doing something muh more worthwhile. The Million Dollar Blog Post is an Internet wishing well where anyone can leave a comment with a wish for the world.

In exchange sponsors who put up copies of pictures of their donations to any charity they choose, will sponsor wishes by donating $1 a wish.

The site needs 1 million wishes left as comments or link back posts so we can raise a million dollars for charity.

I think this is a much more worthwhile story for TechCrunch to cover. Call it the economics of abundant generosity, or the long tail of generosity - but this is a idea.

We would love to have TechCrunch or any reader sponsor a charity they care about (Grameen Bank, Creative Commons, Wikipedia, EFF, etc.) and join other sponsors for a few wishes while showing your readers this great experiment in social giving Web 2.0 style.

Thanks.

Hello everybody. I would like to introduce you to a new concept. Beginning in January of 2007 AssistMeOnline.com will be the new site for questions and answers. Although the website has not technically been launched yet, it is currently viewable at http://www.AssistMeOnline.com It will actually be a re-launch since this website was originally launched in a Beta form in the spring and summer of 2005 with great success. This time it will be better than ever with new features that other companies with a similar service do not provide to its users. More is to come when the official announcement will be made and press releases will be issued. In the meantime all former Google Answers Researchers are invited to apply to become a Representative and join the AssistMeOnline.com network. If anyone has questions or suggestions you may contact us via our website. Comments are also welcome through this forum. Bienvenido AssistMeOnline.com and Sayonara to Google Answers.
