[...] Michael Arrington certainly knows how to throw a party! I was lucky enough to make it on the guest list at last night’s TechCrunch 8 NYC party at Bed where there was plenty of cool schwag, an open bar, and tasty snacks. I was already a fan of Eurekster and was happy to see them there talking about some new developments with Swicki. I was also interested to see Compete there chatting about Snapshot, it’s new Web analytics product which offers up some of its data analysis to the public, similar to Alexa. There were many more 2.0 companies there, but my favorite of the night was partyStrands which provided the night’s rockin’ tunes according to the guest’s preferences.
[...] Only a few hours left and we will launch Fleck.com to the public. We will be at the Techcrunch party wearing white suits and People will be able to write their emailaddress on our suits in exchange for a free PRO account. Hopefully Michael Arrington will be available to push one button on my Blackberry which will switch a ‘0′ to a ‘1′ in a database somewhere which will change everything. From that moment on you will be able to browse the whole site. The Estimated Launch Time (ELT?) will be between 7pm and 8pm New York (EST?) time. [...]

"There are still four passes available from event sponsor Conduit - download the CRUNCHbar toolbar and click on the “Win a Ticket” icon to register"

I'd be curious to know the ROI of "Sponsoring a TechCrunch Party" and enticing the 90,000 + people willing to give up their right kidney in order to attend by signing up for their respective service vs. being one of the 6 "TechCrunch.com Blog Sponsors" on the top right corner?

(I'd be interested in knowing the comparision of conversion rate per dollar spent ... wishfull thinking I guess.)
