CrunchGear Says Wake Up
by John Biggs on November 10, 2006

Update: If you live in Seattle you can win a Zune on CrunchGear.

At some point during the next 24 hours, CrunchGear is going to have something very special for our Seattle-area readers and for our readers in the world at large. We can’t say what it is yet, but you will like it. Tell your friends to check, too. Tell your girlfriends, boyfriends, neighbors, band mates, drinking buddies, parole officers and driving instructors. Just make sure you don’t miss it. Oh, and Seattle-area folks, keep your Monday open, and you’ll want a digital camera.

Could it be a giant Zune on display?

You guys are such a tease…

called “cheap marketing”

Maybe it’ll be a giant Zune blocking each Apple store’s entire storefront window and door.

I vote for the SexBot

Indian: And its called getting quality information for free.

Get over it.

Oooh I wonder what it could be :D

I’m in Seattle right now but leave for London in 3 hours… boo..

Lately I see TC tring to bring in “speculation” factor just to drive more traffic…

I still think it is “cheap marketing”.

Really? So when they broke the story of GooTube that was cheap marketing?

Please, stop advertising CrunchGear in your blog. Everybody knows about it. For me its becoming annoying - I don’t care about gadgets, but do care about web.

Ditto.

Knock off this kind of sleezy crap before I delete TechCrunch shortcut from my list of bookmarks. Sheesh.

ballons, popcorn, hot dogs and ice cream and a sad clown at pioneer park. free umbellas.

Yah WTF is this? What ever happend to good ol’ modest TechCrunch news?

i actually HAVE a parole officer, but I don’t think he’d be interested….but sexbots, maybe.

So bascially 99.9% of the world doesn’t give a shit because they don’t live in Seattle. Sweet!

No, I think it’s a sexbot dongle for my new Zune

now you can bot off and wifi your playlist at the same time!

man some of you guys need more coffe I think it’s great :)

Can you feel the love? Seriously folks, lighten up.

Yeah, lighten up!

But you will hate it if somebody publish it before you do ;-)
Or perhaps “those guys” told you “You can only publish this info after us” … yeah, maybe …

I have a guess….

…sexbots?

I hope this doesn’t turn out like the Joystiq fiasco.

I will take pics and send them to you guys.

Please continue to give us these advertisements for CrunchGear. I like both sites and am amused by peoples whineyness….

So “the world at large” is actually “the States”. Way to go! I would have assumed you cared a little more about your international readers, but now I see that’s certainly not the case here. As someone else said… lame, indeed.

2Paul Thompson:

“I like both sites, but forget about them every turn. Please, make a link to both sites in every TechCrunch post.”

All these negative comments seem to come from immature techno-snobs. What’s so cool about YOU? How about, if you can’t say anything nice, say nothing at all, and give it a rest. Sheesh is right.
