I’m curious how you would feel about fellow researchers/bloggers/podcasters cutting and pasting quotes from your mp3 file?

I’d like to be able to use the actual sound byte when appropriate for inclusion in my podcast. You know, the right technology for the right application -yada yada.

You do a great job and I appreciate your service and I want to step-up our offering for our listeners. I’m curious to learn your take on other researchers copying your reports, especially when it’s rich media that’s being the copied.

Again, by “copy” I mean sound bytes. Alsom if you’re totally kewl with it, how would you prefer to be quoted as the source?

ABCota, if we left everything to professionals than we’ll still be getting our ‘tech’ news from sole outlets like big media and magazines.

Also I would love a transcript of the podcast, I too am not a big fan of them.

Complete waste of time, nothing of value. Om Malik I enjoy your articles more in Business 2.0 Magazine. It isn’t the same on the podcasts… You seem to withold yourself. Seriously guys TechTV the way it is now is more interesting… which is scary…

Not to be too negative, but what could actually be learnt from listening to this podcast?

1. VOIP could challenge the very existence of regular carriers…. or maybe not.
2. Digg could challenge the very existence of NYT and the like… or maybe not.
3. Aggregate crowd wisdom could challenge traditional bookies.. or maybe not.

Would be nice to hear some more brave predictions in future casts. Sorry for the rant, but just because you are famous in the geek world does not mean that your chat over a cup of coffee will reveal any real insights.

OK… after looking at the source you’re using two enclosure URLs and iTunes is only fetching the first one (the mov/video one).

The second one isn’t fetched…….. You might want to fix that :-/

I’m still going to try to get it on my ipod though… I hate listening to podcasts at my desk.
