I checked out the site. It’s one of a few sites which allow streaming without having to download the whole movie. Why don’t other companies do more of this? My son loves the cartoons and he does not speak any Russian. It’s very good and easy to navigate. I told my father in-law about it and he is hooked.

The guy who was the subject of the movie Startup.com (which told the story of the rise and fall of govworks.com) is doing something similar with his new company. Not sure the name, but if anyone's interested, I am sure they can connect the dots pretty quickly.

Unlike previous posters, I've actually read the post AND tried the service, and I must say that even though the content selection is not overwhelming, the streaming quality is decent and ad breaks are short... hey, they just might be onto something there...

As the World Wide Web grows so will the demand for Multilanguage videos.
Web 2.0 loves diversity. The web touches every part of the world, and it does not only belong to "us". If we want to become successful in ver 2.0, then you better consider appealing to speaker of other languages.
Q:
What would happen if the 90% of the web was in Russian or and other foreign language?
A:
Yes, web would pretty much be out in the dark.

Web 2.0 is open-minded and loves diversity.

The rules are changing.

Niche seems to be the mantra. BTW, why the goal of just 43 languages???
I see similar sites already thought targetted only at Indian diaspora.
