I’ve created an online version of a Skype Call Recorder: http://www.Scodor.com. It is platform neutral, so if you have Skype, you can use it. It works with phones, too, but the quality is much better when using Skype.

Regarding all the comments about ads, personally I don’t even see them because the content of the articles is so strong. Keep up the good work.

i don’t disagree – i feel like the quality of TC itself has remained very high, entertaining and topical. i read it every day. IMHO, CG has yet to get to the same level of quality – maybe it will get there, but i simply do not find it very compelling.

re: ads, i’m fully accept a site owner’s desire/need to make money, but that doesn’t make obnoxious ads any less annoying to the reader. this comment is obviously not limited to TC, but i’ve always hope for a higher standard of consumer focus here.

oh well.

i still have full respect for mike and this site, but remain skeptical of the empire being built around him. that’s just my $0.02.

The quality is still great as are the reviews that have been written on this site. I think some of the criticism that is directed at Mike is often misguided & undeserving considering that writers, researchers, getting into press reviews, flying across the country side and paying for events is neither free nor cheap and when you multiply this across countries for UK and Japan and then across their respective writers etc – it goes up exponentially.

Either way – I some think that the ad comments are fair enough regarding the AOL ad in the middle of the story – not so sure about the others.

To the haters: Michael is simply directing you all to an amazing feature, you should be thanking him.

I’ve be a long time fan of your site, and your writing, and sympathize with what you’re trying to do… But, as people are quite rightly pointing out the ads are just getting out of hand. It’s honestly quite a large disincentive to wanting to drop by TC for a visit… I’d rather get my news elsewhere.

Please reign in your thirst for more & more and be reasonable (and one might argue kind) to your audience.

PS While I’m sharing my opinion, if I were you I would reconsider CrunchGear – it’s not a good fit and not especially well-executed.
