Live Coverage?
The site’s having a bit of trouble due to traffic but keep an eye on it.
If you can’t wait for the monkey to be fed MacWorld has excellent coverage:

It’s still dead …
Gizmodo’s died, and Engadget are struggling too!
They just announced iPods and an update on iTunes including overpriced movies. I am not so sure what the excitement was/is all about.
Question for me is - do I upgrade to itunes 7 and get movies etc., or stay with itunes 5 and the ability to exercise my fair use rights via JHymn?
To recap:
1. bigger and brighter ipods
2. color nanos
3. mini shuffles
4. itunes 7
5. movie downloads
6. iTV in 2007
no vpods
no iphones
no new macs
What a huge bummer — a whole lot of anticipation for a very lackluster showing.
How is it disappointing?
It was a showtime event so they showed off the new ipods and movie downloads and released the speed bumps for the comps last week.
WHAT WOULD YOU WANT?
God people whine a lot.
The “Mac Rumors Live” dealie at macrumors.com is like the only thing that doesn’t crash during these. It also auto-updates via AJAX. Use that, next time, people. There are no photos, and the coverage is Cliff’s Notes style, but it’s fast and it doesn’t go down.
Hey: If you download the new iTunes 7 you will get a new pilot episode of “Psych” for free. I just ordered “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” and after a while a second download started although I have not bought anything else.
