Actually, Office 2007 is blog compliant. Word 2007 can be used as a blog editor/publisher.

I’ve just had a look at Live Writer and I must agree with Faisal, Dmitry et al. Nothing, I believe, to rave so about.

@ Raj, I have used Blogjet for some time and in comparision to LiveWriter, for me, Blogjet wins hands down.

PPF1.3 was an idle tryout and I just got so used to it, mainly for the fact that it provides for a nifty ’split window’ where you can draft up your blog entry WHILE looking at the tabbed web pages (in Firefox), making hyperlinking a cinch.
