The research process should ideally be done efficiency and accurately, this is where tools like Diigo and WebNotes should help. Adding social aspects or other features should be a secondary consideration.

I have been using Diigo to highlight and stickynote on our intranet web pages for my everyday jobs. I easily catch up what I though and what colleagues said two weeks ago when in a con-call because all those memories are now directly on those pages instead of in my brain or in my notebook that has been a mess since long ago. Diigo’s searching ability helps a lot too … “tag:work vista” gets me everything about “vista” from web pages that are tag’ed to ‘work’.

Digging diigo…

I started using Diigo last week despite a sceptical preview by Michael Arrington. (Actually, that sounds wrong–I’m an avid techcrunch reader but often disagree with conclusions.) I have 46 bookmarks (and 74 tags) in Diigo and I’m finding it faster…
