Dodger,

Yes we obssessed with the names for everything. A link on the site is called a Storemark. We tooks weeks to decide what to call the quest. Even longer to decide on our name.

Names are important and they need to be meaningful and memorable.

So we have Quests, Storemarks, Floster, and Otavo.

Silly perhaps, at least we aren't copying other people's memes or starting another 'whatever.com' killer site.

BTW: Esperanto is not quite dead yet but when it does it will join other dead languages like say....Latin, as humanity evolves so does language.

Odd----
Otavo looks and sounds too close to Ottawa from where their site is located. This app is too concerned with fancy oddball names... "floster"? The next big app will be wholly based on baby talk ;-) .

The universal language from the 1960's, Esperanto, was a total failure. Too focused on digging up hokie names instead on the product itself.

"ovatO-Otavo" just a whole lotta smokem & broken mirrors.

[...] Ottawa Startup Otavo launched into it’s public beta today with a bit of fanfare over at TechCrunch. The service allows users to ask and answer questions, organize and comment on bookmarks and share goals - somewhat like putting del.icio.us, ask.metafilter and 43 Things in a blender and pouring the frothy goodness into www.otavo.com.
Interesting - while it does look complicated I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops.

It's nice to see a cool web 2.0 app come out of Canada, and Ontario (my home province), even more!
